Jenny & Albert…got married! {Loretto Chapel}

Albert was a little nervous when I first arrived at the chapel, but everyone is on their wedding day. Plus how many days of the year do you have a photographer following you around? Ah…the pressure! So I knew I had to make him laugh. All I remember is saying something about Rico Suave and we both cracked up!

Jenny was an absolute vision of loveliness. I only had a few moments with her before the ceremony began, so I quickly snapped several photos of the last minutes touches. Then just as she was about to exit the side chapel, I caught her in the light that was spilling in from the door illuminating her dress. If you notice, just behind her it says Lady of Light, and she most definitely was!

Sara & Terry…got married! {San Cristobal Ranch}

Labor Day weekend…what an awesome wedding! I love photographing new places in the Santa Fe area. Sara and Terry were married on Saturday at the incredible San Cristobal horse ranch in Lamy, New Mexico. No one before them has ever had a wedding on the property…so it was a very special occasion indeed! The weather was perfect and the entire day was spectacular. A perfect blend of elegance and down-home fun!

Emily & Jason – Engagement Photography

What a beautiful afternoon in Bernalillo. I decided to meet Emily and Jason at the Hyatt Tamaya for our photo shoot. It was a rainy afternoon and we were all a little apprehensive that the weather was not going to cooperate, but true to form, the sun broke through the clouds late that day and what spectacular light we were blessed with. I am so looking forward to their wedding next month at the Pecos National monument…stay tuned for more!

Emily - Ginger,

I can’t tell you enough how gorgeous they came out! I love the
way you photograph and know for sure you are the best we can have with us on our special day. I am so excited that all my research on the internet paid off with you. I worked for a wedding photographer years ago and never thought it got any better than that. You sure did set the bar high for all Photographers. You were a lot of fun and made us feel very compfortable. Thank you thank you thank you. 🙂

Kayo & Mason…got married! {Museum of International Folk Art}

My favorite color is red….wow, was I in for a treat! Kayo and Mason flew in from San Diego last weekend to tie the knot in Santa Fe. It was an amazing ceremony, a beautiful blend of cultures and traditions. As we walked the grounds of La Posada before leaving for the ceremony at the Folk Art Museum, Kayo suggested we bring along one of the paper parasols. Such an amazing prop! Needless to say I loved this idea! What a picture perfect afternoon!

Monica & Clinton…got married! (Red River, New Mexico)

On July 10 in the quaint little ski town of Red River, New Mexico, Monica and Clinton said “I do”. What an incredible day it was! The sky was so intensely blue and only became slightly overcast at the very end of the day. The weather was absolutely perfect. Most of their family and friends came from Pagosa Springs to join them in their marriage celebration. It was truly an awesome weekend. I am so glad that I was able to be there for them…thanks for finding me Monica!
