Jackie & John…got married! {La Posada}

Jackie and John said “I do” at the lovely Cristo Rey Catholic church on October 16. It was a perfect fall day, the leaves were changing but the weather was still warm! Friends and family journeyed from all over to witness their union. Then later that day they dined and celebrated at La Posada. Congratulations Jackie & John…I am so glad to have shared the big day with you!

Catherine & Tim…got married! {Inn at Loretto}

Santa Fe Wedding…Catherine and Tim said “I do” at the Inn at Loretto on the lush lawn by the sculpture garden. Catherine wore a fabulous wedding gown accented by a bold red necklace. As we returned to the hotel after taking photos on the streets of Santa Fe a passerby shouted out “way to shop for a dress!”

Elizabeth & Ross…got married! {Hyde Park Lodge}

Ross and Elizabeth drove out from Chicago to tie the knot in the beautiful mountains of Santa Fe. It was a perfect autumn day with crisp air and fall color. Never before has a couple requested their photo be taken with a tree, but Elizabeth asked if I would take a shot of them “tree hugging” to which I replied…”what they don’t have trees in the city” and she said “not like these!” That’s the beauty of Santa Fe!Santa Fe WeddingSanta Fe WeddingSanta Fe Wedding

Amanda’s Senior Portraits

Yesterday afternoon I made the drive from Santa Fe out to Pojoaque, NM to photograph my friend’s daughter’s senior portraits. We decided to take Amanda’s portraits on her family’s property which has this great rural and rustic feel to it. The lighting was perfect…warm and golden! And the shoot was fun and full of laughs!

Ruth & Kristov – Engagement Photography

Ruth and Kristov…what a fun photo shoot and fun couple! Orlando happens to be my fabulous hairstylist here in Santa Fe. On the day of their engagement session we were all worried about the weather, but true to form the sun broke through the rain clouds and gave us some dramatic lighting. Plus I was so excited that the wild sunflowers were still in bloom. We did the photo shoot on the side of the road but it looks like they were in a field of flowers!

Congratulations on your engagement and many hugs & kisses to you both on your wedding day!
